Jennifer Aniston is known for her iconic hair, like the famous Rachel haircut from Friends and her long blonde locks from her time with Brad Pitt. It’s no surprise that the Emmy winner, now 49, spends a lot of time at the salon taking care of her mane. Recently, she was spotted leaving Canale in Beverly Hills after a three-hour appointment, where a dye job can cost upwards of $400.
Looking great takes time and effort. Recently, Jennifer Aniston was spotted exiting the Canale Salon in Beverly Hills following a lengthy three-hour appointment. The actress, known for her hair care line Living Proof, left the salon with a beautifully styled hairdo featuring bold blonde highlights at the front and darker shades at the back.
Sporting her signature aviator sunglasses, Jennifer took a moment to snap a couple of selfies before heading out. Carrying two paper bags from the salon and a stylish brown leather purse slung over her shoulder, she exuded a chic vibe in a black sweater, rolled-up jeans, and black Gucci loafers.
In top shape: The 49-year-old actress, known for her hair care line Living Proof, had her hair styled with bold blonde highlights at the front and darker shades at the back as she stepped out looking fresh. However, the Office Christmas Party star appeared to still be recovering from a wrist injury, as she was still wearing a brace that she has been sporting for several weeks now.
Standing alongside the famous beauty was her blonde friend, dressed in a white T-shirt and blue track pants. Despite Aniston’s timeless beauty and long-standing fame, she once shared with the Telegraph in 2016 that she struggled with feelings of inferiority when she was younger.
Dressed in a casual outfit, the Wanderlust star was also seen carrying two paper bags from Canale. By her side was a blonde woman sporting workout clothes. Reflecting on her younger years, the actress shared, “During my teenage years, I didn’t really focus on my appearance. My mother, Nancy Dow, was incredibly beautiful, and my high school best friend, Monique, was tall, skinny, with long blonde hair and big blue eyes. I always felt like I didn’t quite measure up to them.”
Back in 1994, Jennifer Aniston made the Rachel hairstyle famous on the show Friends. She was known for experimenting a lot with her hair during her younger years. She mentioned that in her teenage years, she would dye her hair in bold colors like boysenberry. She even went as far as cutting it very short and even shaving the sides while keeping the top long.
Jennifer shared that her mother was very focused on looking perfect, which made her rebel against that idea. She felt that her mother’s emphasis on appearances pushed her to do things like shave her head and engage in rebellious behavior as a child. Looking back, she finds it funny when people compliment her on her great hair now, as she recalls how terrible it was when she was younger.
In the past: During her marriage to Brad Pitt in the early 2000s, she rocked super long, straightened blonde hair.
According to Courtney Cox’s best friend, her hair used to be a challenge with its big, frizzy, and unmanageable nature that reached down to her butt with bangs. At the age of 13, she had a hair mishap at Vidal Sassoon when she tried to emulate Valerie Bertinelli’s style and ended up with a mullet, which became her first real hair disaster.
She declared the 1980s as the worst decade for hair, which led her to swear off haircuts and let her hair grow out, turning into the typical long-haired girl.
When she adopted the famous Rachel hairstyle, she found it was not as simple as it appeared. Her hairstylist, Chris McMillan, gave her a fabulous haircut at his LA salon, which marked the beginning of a new look for her.
Aniston is currently going through a divorce with Theroux, her spouse of three years. Recent speculation suggests that he may be romantically involved with both Petra Collins and Selena Gomez. This information surfaced back in 2017.
Approximately a month later, he created what later became known as The Rachel among Friends fans. I had to visit him every six weeks to maintain this hairstyle, which was quite a hassle, considering it was more of a “hairdo”. Frankly, it was one of the most challenging styles to keep intact unless Chris, the stylist, did it. With my thick, voluminous hair, it often took on a shape of its own that I wasn’t always thrilled about. Personally, I don’t believe it suited me very well.
Aniston is currently going through a divorce from Theroux, whom she tied the knot with in 2015. There have been speculations about him dating Petra Collins and Selena Gomez.
Coming up next for America’s beloved actress is a television series alongside Reese Witherspoon about morning shows, which Apple acquired in November.
